SafeSport is the Olympic community’s initiative to recognize, reduce and respond to misconduct in sport. The six primary types of misconduct are:
Bullying
Harassment
Hazing
Emotional Misconduct
Physical Misconduct
Sexual Misconduct, including Child Sexual Abuse
The SafeSport Trained course is geared toward coaches, team volunteers, officials or team staff members (athletic trainer, team doctor, etc.).
Does your child's youth sports organization support the SafeSport program? Has your child's coach been trained?
In today's world, this is just too important.
