The TeamSafe® Special Edition: Rhabdomyolysis
A DOZEN female soccer athletes at the University of Houston were sidelined with a very serious medical condition called rhabdomyolysis. This occurred the week before the Super Bowl so there was little media attention. "Rhabdo" has become all too frequent in the world of youth sports. Since it is 100% preventable, a little education and planning will go a long way.
